Musical Theater Day Camp
At Harriman State Park
For Ages 7-14
The musical theater summer camp at the spectacular Harriman State Park is the best mix of an intensive performing arts
program blended with recreation activities. The morning is filled with lake-swimming, boating, nature hikes and fun. The rest
of the day is hours of singing, reading scripts, acting,designing sets and producing a showcase. The camp staff are
top experts in the musical theater field. Camp runs in 2-week sessions from 7/9-8/17.

A terrific introduction to the world of Musical Theater and Film. This class will work on scene study as
well as character interpretation through monologues and skits. Students will also learn easy choreographed dance numbers.
Final class will include an informal presentation. Ages 6-12yrs old. No classes 10/31 &11/21
Classes will be held in the music room. This year students (if desired) will have a chance to audition for
"A Christmas Carol" with the Stormy Weather Players. Show dates Dec 14th & 15th.

Acting for Beginners - Students will participate in a series of fun and engaging activities designed
to enhance their creativity and strengthen their confidence. Scene study, theater games, improvisation and creative
movement will be introduce to our young actors.

Acting in Front of the Camera. Learn to act in front of the camera. Students will choose a monologue and perform in front of the camera
with instructor critique. At the end of the 6 wk. course students will have an audition ready DVD of their performance. This
class will focus on the Audition Process.
